Alan Charles Freeman

Alan Charles Freeman, Ph.D. earned his doctorate at Indiana University in urban analysis and planning. Dr. Freeman served thirteen years as a faculty member in urban planning in Denver, Colorado.

Dr. Freeman then served as the Director for Planning, Design and Construction at San Jose State University in California. This position included responsibility for overseeing the planning, design and construction of all capital projects. This included the selection of architectural, engineering, and consulting services required by the projects, the supervision of design from schematic to construction documents and finally to overseeing the projects during construction.

Presently, Dr. Freeman resides in Vilnius, Lithuania and continues to work with the local universities from preparing grant application, teaching statistics to advising Master’s students during their thesis work.

Dr. Freeman served as the President for the Society of College and University Planners (SCUP) and served seven years on the Board of Directors of this professional organization.
